The Empowering Diversity Scholarship will help Arizona&rsquo;s youth achieve educational goals while fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. Scholarships will provide recipients with resources to reach their dreams, like Veronica Aguilar, one of last year&rsquo;s inaugural scholarship winners.

The Empowering Diversity Scholarship supports two educational pathways:

 <li>Post-secondary Scholarship Package: $5,000 toward future educational expenses plus $500 for wraparound program support</li>
</ul>
<ul style="list-style-type: square;">
 <li>General Education Development Scholarship Package: $200 in support for high school diploma or equivalency plus $500 for wraparound program support</li>
</ul>

Qualifications
Applicants for the GED pathway must be minorities with a strong commitment and/or contribution to their local community living in the state of Arizona. For the post-secondary pathway, applicants must be in their senior year of high school or current college students attending an Arizona post-secondary institution (including community colleges) to be eligible. Applicants must also be a minority, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate a strong commitment to their local community through service and leadership.
