We partner with your primary care provider (PCP) to coordinate your health needs. By building a relationship with you, your PCP can get to know you, your health history, and your health goals, and help you take the right next steps. 
The result is more accurate diagnoses, lower out-of-pocket costs, and a healthier you. 
 

Your PCP is focused on your health and can help in many ways:

 <li>Looks out for your overall health, providing preventive care that includes annual checkups, screenings, and immunizations. 
 
 </li>
 <li>Coordinates with specialists and other healthcare providers to support all your healthcare needs, from minor illnesses to ongoing health conditions and mental health. 
 
 </li>
 <li>Works with Blue Cross&reg;&nbsp;Blue Shield&nbsp;of Arizona&reg;&nbsp;to help you get the right care at the right time.</li>

Here&rsquo;s how to save money and get the most from your plan:
<ul>
 <li>Always go to your designated PCP.&nbsp;If you visit a doctor outside of your PCP&rsquo;s practice, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for the full cost of care. You can change your PCP up to six times a year if you&rsquo;d like. 
 
 </li>
 <li>If you need to see a specialist, ask your PCP for a referral.&nbsp;Your plan won&rsquo;t cover most specialist visits without a referral from your PCP. Feel good knowing that your specialist visit will be covered by getting a referral first. 
 
 </li>
 <li>Staying in-network can save you money.&nbsp;Remember, out-of-network providers aren&rsquo;t covered by your plan. Avoid surprise costs by checking to make sure that your doctor, hospital, or urgent care is in your plan&rsquo;s network before you visit.</li>

 <li>Don&rsquo;t pay more than you need to. Log in to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.azblue.com/account-management/bluenet-online" target="_blank">your MyBlue account</a>&nbsp;and use our Find a Doctor tool to look for doctors and hospitals in your plan&rsquo;s network.&nbsp;
