Nov. 4, 2022&mdash;Remember that hour of sleep you lost when we turned the clocks forward in March? You're about to get it back.

Daylight saving time ends Sunday, Nov. 6, at 2 a.m. That means it's almost time to set the clocks back by one hour and make the switch to standard time (unless you're in Hawaii or Arizona, where daylight saving time isn't observed).

'Fall back' into better habits

If you struggle to get the recommended seven to eight hours of daily shut-eye, use this as a chance to make snagging an extra hour of sleep a habit. Get started with this advice from the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.netreturns.biz/healthinfo/bouncelink.aspx?shortcut=asdaslp">American Academy of Sleep Medicine</a>. 

On Saturday night:

 <li>Don't change your clocks until you're ready to go to bed at your normal time.</li>
 <li>Just before you go to bed, go around your home and set all the clocks back by one hour.</li>

On Sunday:

 <li>Wake up at your normal time in the morning, feeling refreshed with the extra hour of sleep.</li>
</ul>
Going forward:
<ul>
 <li>Resist the temptation to stay up later the next day. Keep going to bed each night at the earlier time. </li>
