What We’re Doing to Help

At Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, we are committed to taking an active role in inspiring health across the entire state. Diabetes touches the lives of so many Arizonians, and so we are teaming up with the Arizona Department of Health Services, healthcare providers, community partners, and YOU to fight back!

As part of a comprehensive action plan, BCBSAZ is seeking to reduce diabetes progression by 25% by 2025. Through a multi-pronged approach, we will raise awareness of diabetes prevention and management strategies, support Arizonans in adopting and sustaining healthy lifestyle behaviors, increase coordination with healthcare providers to support them as they care for their patients, tackle disparities related to health outcomes, elevate community knowledge about available resources, and create a healthier Arizona.
