Your heart deserves health. These smalls steps can help you reduce your risk for heart disease.

Step 1: Get Moving

Just 30 minutes of activity a day can help build a more resilient heart. Taking a brisk walk, going for a hike or even doing body weight squats between meetings can start to improve your heart's strength.

Step 2: Eat Heart-Healthy Foods

Your heart deserves the right fuel. Get a balanced diet of vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins. Only have fats and sugar in moderation, and avoid heavy alcohol use.

Step 3: Stress Less

Spend time doing things you enjoy. Host game nights with friends, get out in nature, and enjoy relaxation to boost your heart health. Lowering your stress can help lower cortisol in your body and improve your overall heart function.

Step 4: Get Enough Sleep

Sleep is critical for your body to be able to reset and remove waste. The American Heart Association recommends adults get 7 to 9 hours of quality sleep each night to keep their hearts healthy
