Arizona Business Leaders Urge Arizonans to Wear a Mask and Practice Safety Measures this Holiday Season

With COVID numbers on the rise and the Thanksgiving holiday around the corner, the many community leaders within the Greater Phoenix Leadership Team strongly remind Arizonans that it’s more important than ever to continue to Mask Up and be cautious about the way you and your loved ones choose to gather this holiday season. Click here to watch a full video for more information from these key leaders.

Since March we have lost more than 6,400 Arizonans, and may lose an additional 4,000 by the end of this year. We can’t afford to lose any more loved ones, children, grandparents, best-friends, coworkers or neighbors and certainly can’t ask for more from our already stretched healthcare providers.

With that, key Arizona leaders urge Arizonans to pause and carefully consider each other’s safety before gathering. It’s okay if your holidays are a little different this year. Remote gatherings are best. If you decide to gather, smaller and outdoor is better. Masks are a must.

Amidst the chaos, there is still a lot to be thankful for this year. Let’s join together as a community to protect one another, to save lives, to save jobs, and to save the people we love. We want everyone near and dear to you to join you at the holiday table next year. Give thanks, not COVID. Stay safe and mask up.
