Our Clinical Services staff is here to support your health.


Behavioral Health
Members are eligible for Behavioral Health services. These services can help people learn new ways to think and feel so they can cope with life in healthier ways. These services can also help people stop drinking and using drugs. Visit our Behavioral Health page to learn more. 

Care Management
We have Care Managers who work with you to get the care and resources you need. They can:

  • Explain your medications
  • Share information about your health and ways to stay well
  • Connect you to food, housing, and other support
  • Find specialists near where you live
  • Communicate with your primary care provider (PCP)
  • Assist with scheduling appointments
You may qualify for Care Management if you:

  • Have a health condition like diabetes, kidney disease, congestive heart failure (CHF), or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) 
  • Are getting a transplant
  • Use the emergency department or hospital often     
  • Are moving between care settings, such as leaving a hospital or being released from jail or prison
  • Have special health care needs
  • Need assistance getting the right care
  • Were referred by someone on your care team

How to use these services:

If you are in a Care Management Program, a Care Manager will be assigned to you. Your Care Manager may call you to talk about your needs, look at your records, and work with your healthcare team. Together you will develop a care plan with goals that fit your needs and preferences. Your Care Manager will work with you to meet your goals.

How to Opt-In or Opt-Out of these services:

Call Member Services at 1-800-656-8991, TTY 711, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week, if you have questions. You can:

  • Ask for a Care Manager
  • Opt-Out of our Care Management at any time

 

Quality Management
The Quality Management Department investigates all complaints about care or services to ensure quality care for our members. The Quality Management department also oversees quality improvement projects, which enhance services for members, providers, and the health plan.
