- Medicaid- Medicaid provides additional coverage to tribal members who need extra support to afford health services. Through managed care, they ensure members get any specialty care they need. 
- Indian Health Services- The IHS funds free primary, specialty and community services care for enrolled tribal members. They work with Medicaid to ensure proper access to care. 
- Tribal 638- These programs allow individual tribal nations to oversee their health centers and tailor their services to their members’ health needs and concerns. 
- Urban Indian Health Program- The UIHP helps connect tribal members living in urban areas with culturally competent, tribal run care centers and doctors.

- American Indians/Alaska Natives enrolled in Medicaid may choose to receive coverage through AHCCCS American Indian Health Program (AIHP) or one of the AHCCCS-contracted managed health plans, also known as AHCCCS Complete Care (ACC) plan. 
- American Indian/Alaska Native members can switch between AIHP and an AHCCCS-contracted managed health plan at any time. American Indian/Alaska Native members can switch between AHCCCS-contracted managed health plan once per year. To change from American Indian Health Program to a managed care health plan, call 602-417-7000 (Maricopa County) or 1-800-962-6690 (Outside Maricopa county). - AHCCCS American Indian Health Program (AIHP) is a fee for service program administered by AHCCCS for eligible American Indians/Alaska Native individuals. AIHP provides medically necessary services for enrolled members, including preventive and behavioral health care services. 
- AHCCCS Complete Care (ACC) Plans are AHCCCS-contracted managed health plans, which give members access to physical and behavioral health services for Medicaid enrolled individuals. BCBSAZ Health Choice is an ACC plan. 
- Yes, language services, including interpretation and translation services are available to members are no cost. If you need an interpreter when communicating with BCBSAZ Health Choice staff, call Member Services at 1-800-322-8670. - To be eligible for services at an IHS facility individuals must be a member of a Federally recognized Tribe. To receive benefits through IHS, individuals must go to the patient registration office of the nearest IHS facility and present proof of enrollment with a Federally recognized Tribe.
