Medicare Telehealth Changes Do Not Impact Medicaid
As of October 1, 2025, Medicare telehealth rules have changed, but here’s the good news: these updates do not affect Medicaid coverage. Telehealth remains a convenient and reliable way for AHCCCS members to access care.
If you serve patients who are dually enrolled in Medicare and AHCCCS, they can still receive telehealth services reimbursed by AHCCCS as long as they meet AHCCCS guidelines.
