- Areas impacted by flooding within Grand Canyon National Park
Current Situation
- Rainfall within the Havasu Creek Basin and Havasupai Reservation on September 13, 2026, resulted in significant flash flooding.
- Additional rainfall remains possible and conditions may change quickly.
- There are currently no areas designated under Set or Go evacuation status.
What to Do Now
- Avoid flood-prone areas, washes, creeks, and waterways.
- Stay alert for weather updates and changing conditions.
- Follow directions from local officials, tribal authorities, and National Park Service personnel.
- Keep essential items readily available, including:
- Medications and prescriptions
- Identification and important documents
- Water, food, and emergency supplies
- Cell phones, chargers, and backup batteries
