What You Need to Know
- Power outage update: Seligman is currently without power due to a major accident. APS does not expect power to be restored until 5:00 p.m. on April 17.
- Warming center: The Seligman Fire Station (22590 W Old Highway 66, Seligman, AZ 86337) is open as an American Red Cross site and warming center for those needing a safe place to go.
- Emergency supplies: For ice, food, water, or other emergency supplies, contact the Yavapai County Office of Emergency Management at 928‑442‑5103.
- Travel update: The accident scene has been cleared, and I‑40 is open in both directions.
- Safety guidance from officials:
- Keep refrigerators and freezers closed to preserve food
- Check on elderly neighbors and those with medical needs
- Never approach downed power lines
