    Current Situation

    As of October 22, 2026:

    • Significant damage has been reported throughout the Heber-Overgaard area.
    • Minor injuries have been reported.
    • Emergency personnel remain on scene conducting assessments and response efforts.
    • A reception center has been established for displaced residents.
    • An American Red Cross shelter is now open at Capps Middle School in Heber.
