  • Plans available to individuals under age 30 or those who have met a hardship exemption
  • Provides basic coverage including doctor visits, emergency and urgent care, hospital stays, prescription drugs, etc.*
  • $0 preventive services such as checkups, flu shots, cholesterol screenings and more**
  • Federal subsidies are not available with catastrophic plans

Short-Term Medical Plans

You may want to consider a flexible, low-cost, short-term medical (STM) plan to help protect you in case of unplanned injury or illness*. STM plans are temporary plans and not ACA-compliant, which means you may have to pay a tax penalty.**
