Let’s strike out COVID-19 together!

Blue Cross® Blue Shield® of Arizona (BCBSAZ) is teaming up with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), and Sharecare® on a free family vaccination event at Chase Field on June 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Everyone who gets vaccinated, 12 years or older, will have the chance to run the bases and take their picture on the field.

On Saturday, June 26 all participants are invited back to Chase Field for their second Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine dose and will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Diamondbacks game.

“BCBSAZ is honored to help Arizona get back to normal faster,” said Pam Kehaly, CEO of BCBSAZ. “We encourage all Arizonans, 12 years or older, to come down to Chase Field and get vaccinated.”

The first dose will take place on Saturday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are encouraged, though walk-ins will be permitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments can be made at podvaccine.azdhs.gov or by calling 1-844-542-8201.

Upon completion of the second dose, everyone who is vaccinated will receive a free offer for them and a guest to enjoy any, Monday through Friday, home game during the 2021 season.
